Colour Theory
• Children have started using primary colours; then, they mix them to get secondary and intermediate colours. They have painted the colour wheel and looked the importance of it to see the relationship between colours.
• They have watched some videos for information.
• They have created their own abstract picture choosing the way to do, using:
.- Cool colours;
.- Warm colours;
.- Complementary colours;
.- Monochromatic colours,
.- Analogous;
• They do art, listen to music and speak English in an active and nice way.
• They have learned and decorated the palette chant and the colour qualities (how the mood is influenced by the colour)
At the end we make a display with all their works. It's a fantastic way to see the whole activity. Student talk about them, their preferences, similarities or differences, composition...This is part of the assessment, be capable of talking, give opinion, accept other points of view and of course speak a little bit in English. Always in a positive and respecful way.
